"Visited this agency as I wanted to get quotes on several policies. Kristy Joseph did a great job on the handling of quotes. She was open to questions and answered such without a lot of unnecessary verbiage. Always to the point in a friendly manner. Yes, I moved my policies here. The implementation(s) went smoothly. The way she handled business was a big factor! UPDATE: There are several ways to handle situations, including: with tact or with a sledge hammer! Got notice that my 6 mos auto renewal policies were due. Not coming up, mind you, but due, a month before expiration. Went online to S.F.'s web site to do such. Keyed in banking info. Time went by. Waited for 5 business days to pass. Money did not clear bank. And no one had said a word yet! Notified agent, who said her system showed payments returned. Said to "wait til next week " when the bill regenerates to arrange the payment." I said that I would not wait but would come by with checks. Which I did, April 29. They immediately cleared the bank that day! What if I had never called? On May 02, got mail dated April 27th, 4 business days later arrival?? The mail? " NOTICE OF CANCELLATION 0R REFUSAL TO RENEW." S.F. says in letter with CANCELLATION NOTICE : "bank unable to locate your account." Wow! So instead of being policy holder friendly and notifying me ASAP of an obvious keying error by me, the sledge hammer was brought out! A business just casually brushes off, ignores rectification of an incident like this and start slinging the sledge hammer. What a way to build customer relationships. Of the bills I pay online, mis keying has only happened one other time. I immediately got a text. Situation cleared up in less than 24 hrs. But wait! What about all the mix ups caused by State Farm when house / auto policies were first being quoted / initiated that I had to go through, wait for resolution, etc? I chose tact even though I was aggravated. State Farm's first choice ... bringing out the sledge hammer .... well, who knows who I might have gotten insurance from if I had done the same."
"I’m sorry to hear this was frustrating, and I understand how the timing felt confusing. When a payment is returned by the bank, there can be a delay before it shows in our system. Required notices are automatically sent during that process, so they can arrive after a payment has already been made. I’m glad we were able to get everything taken care of last week and truly appreciate your business."

He took time to speak to me and actually listen to our circumstances to then make custom recommendations that suited our needs. He was honest and helpful, encouraging us to first speak to our current provider and explained all the nuances of the various coverages.
